The Brief History of Democracy.

Image
Democracy, the best thing that humans ever created. Also, something that seems to be in danger all around the world. Democracy can be tracked back to Ancient Greece, in 508 AD. Indian Subcontinent had many  democratic states that existed between 6th century BC to somewhere in mid-4th century. Or to ancient Mesopotamia or Ancient Egypt. Democracy has been as old as human society. Ancient humans, who used to live in tribe were democratic as well.  Anthropologist has found an early version of democracy in the hunter gathers that roamed around before the foundation of civilisation. The proto-democracy predates the agrarian society, sedentary society, yet the basics ideas were the same. The group didn't have a leader, per se. They would discuss the issues at hand in the group of families that stayed together and tried to solve the issues. This is what we call Tribalism or Primitive Democracy. This was the oldest democracy mankind has known. But since then democracy has changed a lot.

Image
So after a six months of long break, I am back! I have talked about the reason behind my absence in another blog, which you can read  here . But now let's talk about where we left the series, The IPOs. So, as I said in the previous chapter, the IPO is short for Initial Public Offering. It is when a company decides to go public for the first time. Today we'll see the reasons companies go public and the advantages of going public and how it's done. Reasons Companies go Public. Now there are three main reasons why companies decide to go public: To raise funds to meet CAPEX. As we know, CAPEX stands for Capital Expenditure. It is the expense evaluated by the company for long term planning. Many companies go public so they could get the funding for these expenditures.  To avoid debt. To meet this CAPEX, many companies take a loan from banks. But a loan means you have to return the money. And if an entrepreneur is already in debt, they try to see other ways to raise funding for

James Webb Space Telescope sends the clearest image of the early universe.

On July 12th 2022, Nasa released a bunch of photos, that were taken by James Webb. In this blog, I shall explain the pictures and what it means for the future of Astronomy, Astrophysics and our overall understanding of the universe. James Webb is created to perform Infrared Astronomy, primarily. It is the biggest optical telescope, we've made till date. While Hubble was our only eyes to watch and perceive the universe, it was relatively wea k in  clicking picture of faraway places or older parts of the universe. This distant, old and faint object can be seen through Infrared lens and that is why we have James Webb looking at the universe . By taking the pictures of older galaxies, it will enrich our knowledge of our universe in its early stages. We'll be able to see the first stars in our universe, and watch the formation of galaxies, something we couldn't do with Hubble. Now there are four key goals of this telescope: Looking for the light of the oldest star and galaxies t

Back From Break. I wanna give some excuses.

So I have been offline since January, after the second chapter of the Stock Market Basics series. I was supposed to start a new series called "The Huge Small World" by mid-January. And another series called "Politics is fun" in Feb start or ending. But none of them went live after the second chapter of Stock Market Basics. I do have reasons for it, which we'll go through in a minute. But right now, when I am writing this, I am happy to say I only have good news and nothing else. So why was I absent? I don't know, actually; I think I got tired. I was working 24/7, and I was alone. And this thing is still new, so it doesn't pay well or it isn't generating much income, so I was also doing freelancing alongside. Along with that, I was also working on my book, ( Redacted ), and sadly, it doesn't seem to be published until next year. But at the same time, I am happy that my book, "There was a kingdom called Bharatgadh" is out now. It is ava
